How does walorski vote on veterans benefits?
I would have voted against it unless they agreed to have their
claims processed by private contractors for the VA. I am not sure if they did
this yet, but if they do then the bill should be killed.
Yes, we need to get those
benefits to our soldiers faster. We need to make sure that the money gets where
it is supposed to go. But let's look at what happened here first. The
Republicans have been arguing about cutting benefits since 2001. They promised
to cut them back in 2006 and 2008. And now they want to kill two bills that
would help out the Vets who were hurt by the Bush administration. Why? Because
they don't want to put any money into the system. That is pathetic. And they
shouldn't even try to argue that people aren't getting their benefits already.
If you read the article it says that only 2% of vets are actually being helped.
So we need to stop listening to these Republicans and start listening to the
American people.
I think it helps our country
to give our soldiers the benefits they deserve. And I agree that we have to
make sure that the benefits get where they are supposed to go. But how can we
do that without making some changes to the system. We need to find ways to keep
the program working efficiently and effectively without spending all the money.
I know that there are a lot of problems in the system right now, but how else
are we going to fix them? We need to make sure we take care of our troops
before we worry about anything else.
I don't think he's ever
voted on something related to helping vets. He hasn't even talked about
anything involving the military or veterans since his first term. But if he
were to ever actually do it, he would probably just get stuck in the typical
Democrat politician way. They always put politics ahead of everything else. And
they'll never give any money to help someone who was injured over politics.
That's what they did to Vietnam Vets.
I believe he would vote
to keep them at their current rate. He wants people to be able to afford things
that they need. I mean, we're talking about a country where if you have no job,
you're considered lazy, but if you go on food stamps, then you're doing a great
job. That's just how America works. I'm not saying that he doesn't care about
the situation, but he cares enough about the economy to make sure that it
continues to improve. So, I'd say that he'd vote to keep them at the same level
as long as he's in office.
I honestly don't know
what he would do. He talks about issues like healthcare being something that
should be more affordable, but we've seen that he doesn't really want to change
the system to accomplish that. And he keeps pushing for a single-payer system,
which isn't really going to solve the problem. I guess I wouldn't expect him to
be a champion of the veteran cause, either. He's done nothing to show that he
cares.
Well, he didn't vote to
extend them until after he took office! He could have been a hero, but instead,
he chose to leave them alone. So, I don't know how he would have voted on that.
I think he's just trying
to play both sides. Since he's a democrat from California, I guarantee that he
thinks that everyone should have healthcare. So, I imagine that he'll favor
keeping the same rates. On the other hand, he's still the governor of
California, and he knows that those rates are causing problems for families in
the state, so maybe he'd vote to raise them just a little bit.
Honestly, I don't know
what he'd do. I haven't heard much from him about the issue, so I don't have
any ideas.
I wouldn't trust him to
do anything positive. I've had friends who have fought in Afghanistan or Iraq
who have told me that he's treated them horribly. He's a real jerk. Even though
he's been president, he's still a corrupt politician.
I think he might try to
push for some kind of aid package for veterans. That way, he can use it to try
to convince us that he's doing something good for our country. If nothing else,
it shows that he's trying to act presidential, although he's definitely not.
